Minority Consolidation
Overview:
For the past 20 years Pride Technologies has been associated with many Fortune 500 companies as a major diversity partner and has worked towards optimizing the clients' IT requirements.
The recent past has seen a major consolidation of the IT vendor base stemming from changes in IT procurement practices, technological advancements in the industry, and reduction in IT budgets. This consolidation has led to the elimination of small vendors who offer similar services and also pose a greater risk to the clients as they tend to be undercapitalized, underinsured, and burdened by antiquated or non-existent internal systems and controls. As a result the new vendor base consists of large-scale companies that are efficient and financially sound.
PIMS (Pride Integration Management System):
As the new consolidated market has resulted in a vendor base that consists of large and well-financed companies, the minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBE) that formed a part of the old vendor base are unable to maintain their presence in the new landscape. Pride Technologies is positioned to resolve this problem through its ability to compete and through the Pride Integration Management System or PIMS.
PIMS is a vendor management platform that enables MWBEs to retain their position in the consolidated market, while maintaining the operational efficiencies acquired by partnering with fewer, larger organizations.
Through PIMS, client-facing activity is streamlined and managed to assure compliance with client systems.
The process includes:
Vendor evaluation and approval
Requisition processing
Skills evaluation and testing
Invoice and payment processing
End user satisfaction and improvement
Pride Technologies combines its capabilities with those of MWBEs to deliver solutions that meet the demanding requirements of the relentlessly changing IT industry while maintaining or increasing the MWBE presence.
